The dutch spinaward nominations have been announced. Ogilvy Amsterdam received a nomination for its mobile campaign  for VVS (Vereniging Verkeersslachtoffers / Dutch Association of Traffic Victims).
How can we make people aware of the fact that using their mobile phone while driving is extremely dangerous and how can we collect money for VVS? By sending them an MMS that, in combination with their fhysical mobile phone, becomes the message. After receiving our MMS, the background image of your mobile phone is a girl lying on a silk pillow with her eyes closed. This added to the shape of the phone creates an allusion that your phone is the coffin. The line is; “Every year 40 people die using a mobile phone while driving” and people are asked to donate 1 euro by replying.
