Musically my vote goes to Uffie. Kesha has better looks. But Auto-tune talking on a beat is not very original and credit goes to Uffie for using a vocoder effect. Both video’s have something cheap and tasteless.

    Uffie is the originator, and is part of a crew (Ed Banger) who is helping define the genre.

    I’m team Kesha. I feel like Uffie (on “Pop the Glock,” anyway) comes from the overdone ‘oh, haha, white people doing black people music’ vehicle. “Pop the Glock” is pretty much a stream of rap clichés. Meanwhile, I think “Tik Tok” has a bit more of a personality. It’s more fun, fresh, and in-your-face. It doesn’t seem as content to stand on the wall, even at the risk of judgment.

    I heard “Tik Tok” first (and looooved it), so I’m likely operating on that bias. I’ve heard Kesha’s a lame performer, too.

    That’s why I stopped listening to manistream music at eleven. It’s just to show that you get preened and programmed to enjoy any crap put on there.
    Kesha isn’t horrible. But it seems like she IS using these stylings as her own staple, even though Uffie’s been doing grime since like 2005ish. I’m not saying Kesha’s doing grime (hell no XD) but she’s parading around like she invented her whole little thing of fame without citing influences.

    I agree, Kesha looks better than Uffie in the vid, but come on, she’s from California–what do you expect? Lol. But Uffie looks better in person, as a brunette anyhow.

    I saw an interview with Kesha, not expecting much, but she has some good views. However, he music is utter shit and she has zero self respect, talking about sleeping around and being at the “all-american red plastic cup party”

    Yet, Kesha has her shit together. She can sell her name well and has a damn good publicity staff. I just like to think that Uffie never really had her chance.

    In conclusion, Uffie is the better artist. Kesha is the better poster-girl.

    Uffie is so much better than Kesha. With her brunette hair, she is much prettier than Kesha as well. She is more original musically. And to whomever said that Uffie is a white person doing ‘black people music’ – What is that exactly supposed to even mean? And you don’t think Ke$ha is doing the exact same thing? Look at the way she even spells her name. The first line talks about P.Didd, not to mention the following – krunk, trunk, swagger – do NOT talk to me about Uffie trying to be ‘black’.

    It’s the exact same thing as TiK ToK.
    I heard tik tok in chemistry while we were doing a lab.

    Once in a while there is talent and then there isnt. Uffie is pretty much what is great about accidents she didnt even want to rap “Feadz” just said he liked her voice. So he put her vocals on some tracks and sounded great. Plus Uffie is mysterious and can play off here Hong Kong-French cool vibe. Uffie is kind of like Bowie fucked Abba with some funk she is original. Kesha is even more over produced then Uffie which is funny here lyrics dont even make sense “Like unless the boys look like Mick Jagger” Old mickey is hot at all what the fuck is she talking about KEsha also stole here rhyme scheme from “LIsa D” she also is more original..     They are all just ripping off lords of acid and princess superstar, so the kesha vs. gaga vs. uffie vs. etc is pretty much moot. There will always be a place in pop hipster’s hearts for skinny girls rapping nasty over interesting beats. We are all just hating on kesha because she is selling tracks. I love uffie to death but until justice et al decide to be a bit more commercial we will have to live the clones.

    i Like uffie mainly because i feel she has more talent and if you listen to uffie’s the party that came out in 2007 and kesha’s tic tock they are super similar. Anyways kesha sells better and i still love her music i just think she is WAY diffrent from Uffie’s style. Uffie is more of a techno rap. While Kesha is a pop/electro.
